Wishlist
As a not-for-profit business, donations are a huge part of what keeps us going and thriving. Here is our current wishlist of items that we most need that will be invaluable contributions to the running of the centre and in which guests will enjoy.
Centre supplieS most needed
- Children’s wellies and walking boots in good condition (all sizes)
- Thick / durable / warm walking socks – adult sizes
- Wooly hats for adults
- Child carriers, especially ones with good back support (all sizes)
- Double duvets (new)
- Single and double mattress toppers (new, fire regulation compliant)
- Mattresses, single and double (new or very good condition)
- Pillows (new)
- Firelighters and long matches for our fireplaces and bonfire use
- Solid, tall standing bookshelf for our growing library (please check with us first in terms of size)
- Cat transporter for Rosa
- Loppers for the garden
- Fire door closers (specs: Door Closer Universal Overhead Suit Fire Doors Dual Handed, Push or Pull Side – Power Size 3 – Silver). Any questions on the specs, click here to get in touch.
We could always do with perishable items that are used regularly at the centre
- Printer ink HP 302 (black and colours)
- A4 copy paper
- Book of 1st Class Stamps
- Toilet roll
- General cleaning supplies (toilet cleaner, anti-bacterial spray, floor cleaner, sponges, etc.)
- Liquid laundry detergent (not conditioner)
- Purina Senior +11 years cat kibble food for Rosa
- Vegetable stock
- Jam and honey (including homemade), peanut butter (smooth and crunchy), marmite (or equivalent)
- Oat / Soya Milk cartons
- Tinned tomatoes, chickpeas, kidney beans, baked beans, cannellini beans
- Pasta (including gluten free options) / rice / lentils / pulses
- Gluten free flours
- Teas (various including herbal teas)
- Coffee (caffeinated and de-caffeinated), sugar, fair trade and organic preferred
- 500gm blocks of mature cheddar cheese
REcreational items
We would welcome recreational items either for the children’s playroom (toys, games, books) or for all guests to use, including musical instruments, books, etc. If you have anything that you’d like to donate, click here to contact us, we’d love to hear from you and discuss how the centre might be able to take them in.
